Education & Background

Jeremy holds a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology and spent nearly fifteen years teaching theology at the university and seminary level. Along the way, he developed interests ranging from Christian doctrine and C. S. Lewis to mythology, fantasy, storytelling, and the peculiar power of a well-told tale.

Today, Jeremy writes across genres.

His work includes Christian nonfiction, speculative fantasy, theological scholarship, and commentary on faith and culture. He is also a professional audiobook narrator, performing under the name Gordon Greenhill.

Publications

He is the author of The Bellowing of Cain: Hope for Those Who've Blown It, an award-winning book about self-inflicted wounds, shame, failure, and the possibility of rebuilding a life after destroying one. His fantasy series, The Relics of Errus, asks a rather different question: What if science and mythology were the same thing?

Beyond the Black Box

Most recently, Jeremy created Beyond the Black Box, a channel devoted to exploring Christian theology for people who still have questions—or perhaps stopped believing because nobody ever gave them satisfactory answers.

Educational & background.

He is also a husband and father of four, a C. S. Lewis scholar, and, depending on whom you ask, either an incurable overthinker or a person who simply refuses to leave an interesting question alone.
